Update 4/1/12: Facebook has fixed this bug!
One of the new features of Facebook’s timeline fan pages is that what used to be known as “tabs” are now featured icons on the top of the fan page. If you are using any apps for your custom Facebook tabs, such as the Static HTML app, you can customize the icon that appears at the top of your page. You can read the tutorial for how to change the timeline tab images here.
However, there is a bug that prevents you from customizing the icon. In fact, when you try to upload one of your own images, a random image from any other Facebook fan page will appear! This is a very frustrating issue that hasn’t been resolved yet. The bug is a Facebook-side issue, as many different apps are affected.

The U Stand Out Facebook page has also been affected by this bug. Here’s what our custom tab should look like:

After someone commented on a recent U Stand Out blog post about this issue, I looked at my page, and there was not only an unbranded, random image, but it was a pornographic image. After several seconds of freaking out, I immediately went to change the image. But whenever I would upload my own, a different, random image would take its place. I settled on one that’s sort of relevant, so here’s what it looks like instead:

This is DEFINITELY not good. Subscribed and commented. Hopefully they get this issue on High priority ASAP.
Thanks Matt! Definitely, I’m surprised they haven’t already fixed the bug; it’s a major issue.
