How to Create Multiple Reveal Tabs on your Facebook Fan Page

How to Create Multiple Reveal Tabs on your Facebook Fan Page

Reveal tabs, also known as fan-gated content, allow you to add custom app tabs to your Facebook Fan Page that show content to the viewer depending on whether or not they’ve liked your page.

Your non-fan content should encourage viewers to “like” the page to see the exclusive, fan only content. Upon liking the page, it will refresh to reveal the fan-only content.

A U Stand Out reader emailed to ask if it’s possible to create multiple reveal tabs. This way, in addition to having a primary reveal tab, you could make other custom tab content such as forums, photos, and videos only visible to fans.

Yes, it is possible to create multiple reveal tabs.

According to my instructions for how to create a reveal tab, you should use the Facebook application called Static HTML to easily create your reveal tab.

In order to create more than one reveal tab, do a search for Static HTML. In addition to the primary Static HTML: iframe tabs app, you’ll see options to add a Second Tab, Third Tab, and so on.

It’s as easy as that. Here are the complete instructions you can follow for each custom tab you create:

Hello! Did they get rid of the second and third tab options for Static HTML….when I type them in I only see the main one?
