You should add some with just the bird too (no words) :P

Good collection so far.

isponsor February 9, 2009 at 12:15 pm

Thank you for this… On the very first series, would it be possible to get the 160x wide ones..

Also possibly having some read, “follow us” instead of “follow me” would be helpful as well…

Great job!

Yes I would like them in the form of a Wordpress widget. Would love a big blue tweetie bird logo.

Robert Clay February 9, 2009 at 12:48 pm

Also, Diana, how do you put the badges in your Wordpress sidebar?

Diana Freedman February 9, 2009 at 1:00 pm

@ Robert Clay – To put the badge in your Wordpress sidebar, first upload the image to your server. Make note of the image location (if you use an easy uploader plugin, it will tell you the source of the image). I use http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-easy-uploader/

Then in the admin section go to Design –> Widgets and add a text widget (where you can put arbitrary text or HTML). Then enter this:

Change the ALLCAPS parts accordingly, and save your changes. Hope this helps!

Great collection to choose from. I think the best ones use Twitter Blue and a birdie! More recognizable. Thanks!

Robert Clay February 9, 2009 at 2:29 pm

Thank you Diana. I thought it must have been something like that, but wasn’t sure.

Rebecca February 9, 2009 at 4:08 pm

Yes, please! A WordPress plugin would be so helpful.

Really nice collection in one place.

Max Rayman January 2, 2010 at 3:39 pm

I think a person's experience of Twitter depends upon who they are following there. I was following HD Porn and a comedian, and for him it was all about self promotion. I stopped following him. Easy.

mfarney February 2, 2010 at 10:01 am

I'm really curious, what software do you use to create these badges? They all look so Twitter like, as if they did them themselves. I really appreciate the variety of shapes and colors. This way everyone can keep their page's style and there won't be a whole group of sites with the same widget. Thank you for sharing your work with all of us. I assure you, it is highly appreciated.
